Hello, my name is Saiona (phonetically pronounced Say-on-ah). I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. I graduated from University of South Carolina-Columbia with my Masters of Social Work and University of North Carolina-Charlotte with my Bachelors of Social Work. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (licensed both in NC and SC), Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate, and I have other certifications.

While I am grateful for my scholastic achievements, I am most proud of the great young man my son has become. I gave birth when I was in the 10th grade (15 years old). I did not want to be a mother so young but when he arrived my heart melted. I realized I had a child- someone who depended on me, which caused me to grow up instantaneously.

To say life was challenging is an understatement for I encountered many heartaches, disappointments, and setbacks. Little did I know those things would help shape my outlook, I became resilient! I reevaluated my life, prioritized, made necessary sacrifices and by our faith, hard work, persistence, consistency, and changing our way of thinking; we are victorious!

You ask how?!?
My son: Is an amazing, handsome, respectful, thriving college student
Myself: I am at PEACE and have the opportunity to help others help themselves

I was truly born with the right name; for after I altered my mentality I "called (things) WELL" (CALDWELL) before, during, and after whatever situation I was in (along with working diligently) and I continue that practice today.
